The step counter test

Tests purpose
Evaluate the percentage of aerobic movement in one week.
Every participant used the step-counter for 7 days, 12 hours a day(08:00-20:00).

The participant countries were:
Estonia:
Kehtna - 1 group
Pärnu - 2 groups
Spain - 1 group
England - 1 group
Ireland - 1 group
Germany - 3 groups

Aerobic movement
Maximum pulse: 220 - your age, (+/- 10)
Pulse: 60-70% of the maximum pulse
Main energy source: fat
No lactic acid formation
Moves lactic acid out of muscles
Expands capillaries
Relaxing

Speed endurance
Pulse: 70-85% of maximum pulse
Main energy source: carbohydrates and fat
Medium lactic acid formation
May increase the lactic acid removal ability

Maximum endurance
Pulse: 85-100% of maximum pulse
Main energy source: carbohydrates
High lactic acid formation
